Welcome to the Teesside Serene Reflection Meditation Group Website

Introduction to the Group

The Teesside group has been in existance for 5 years and is affiliated to the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives. We meet every week as well as joining up with the Newcastle group when a monk from our order visits usually bi-monthly. We also have visits by monks to Teesside usually on a Saturday this tends to be about every 3 months or so.We are very fortunate that Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey is so close to us which allows the group to attend and benefit from the Festival and Meditation days on a regular basis.

Meeting Times and Location

We meet every Wednesday night in the Quaker Friends Meeting House, Cambridge Road, Acklam, Middlesbrough at 7.45pm and begin at 8.00pm with a short service followed by two periods of meditation and finishing with another short service. If you are visiting for the first time please try to contact Billy Barnett or John Adams beforehand and we will arrange to give meditation instruction before the start of the evening
